Referrals for the programs are generated through the Franklin/Fulton and Cumberland/Perry County Base Service Unit (BSU). The contract with the Franklin/Fulton and Cumberland/Perry Counties Mental Health/Mental Retardation Administration identifies the BSU as the source for referrals in order for New Visions, Inc. to receive payment for services.

Individuals who are referred to our agency must be 18 years of age, diagnosed with a chronic mental illness, and a resident of Franklin/Fulton or Cumberland/Perry Counties. Individuals from the county base who are temporarily receiving services at the Harrisburg State Hospital (a state psychiatric facility) are eligible for our programs at the time of their discharge from the State Hospital.
